Certified environmental management

We protect our environment and consider environmental protection as high target to preserve our environment.

We put to this by continuously improving our corporate environmental performance.
Compliance with the relevant statutory requirements is obvious for us. The concentration of environmental protection is Unimet in following priorities:

- Reduction of noise emission
- Ecological water management
- Energy saving

The noise emission is significantly contained by sound-absorbing machines shields and hall ceiling designs. The sound transmission in the adjacent office areas and especially the environment is prevented by sound glazing and our completed loading hall.

In the production area, our sewage are cleaned by an oil separation system and thus responsibly fed the public canal system.

All precipitation on the large building plots and the sealed traffic areas Unimet GmbH leads to the sewers, but feeds a this surface water in a infiltration system that saves the discharge and leaching capable feeds underground.

The total energy consumption in relation to the building surface of electricity and heating oil have been reduced in the last 3 years by around 15 %. Particularly through energy-reducing controls in the air sector, heat recovery in the exhaust system and a heat transfer with the compressor installations for the hot-water treatment.
